Check the federal poverty tables listed on our blog here. to see if you and your family fall into the brackets listed. If, your modified adjusted income (your income after business expenses), falls between 135% and 400% of the federal poverty level, then you most likely qualify for government subsidies. If your income range is not listed in the table (or make more than 400% of the federal poverty level) then a group policy will most likely be the least expensive option with the best benefits and have the most tax benefit.
